If I know Mr. Davies is in a movie, I know at least his character will be worth watching, now even more so. He is a courageous man for saying the truth and knowing it might end his career. Bravo, Mr. Davies, bravo!

Here in America when that earthquake happened in Iran the reaction of everyone I knew was horror and dismay, the reaction of everyone when they heard that the old woman had been brought out alive long after they thought there was anyone there was absolute awe at the extraordinary capacity of the human spirit to survive. Contrast that with people jumping up and down and clapping at the 9/11 disaster in certain countries. 'Nuff said.

Its probably not too many yet, but Britain is experiencing its own version of mass immigration mainly from its former empire. Like ours, it is unpopular with most citizens, or subjects I should say. Like ours, it was never wanted by the people but was pushed on them by the elites. So there are probably quite a few hysterical Islamic leaders in the UK, with more on the way everyday.
But anyway, I might just see Return of the King again now. Its nice to know that not all the the stars are complete far-lefties like the guy that plays Aragorn.

An incrdibly bland and stupid statement.

You can't even fart...you'll be called a "Global Warmist" and "polluter" in violation of the Kyoto Accords.

If the West is so bad; why do so many want to come here? And they don't go back.

He is right. And another condequence is the speading of anti-Jewish bigotry. But no one speaks out about that.

"His attack on Muslims and comments about the threat that they pose to Western society shows his ignorance of world events and the true teachings of Islam."
How sad! A very well grounded observation is somehow transformed into an attack on Muslims!
Can we not venture any type of view without a negative back lash?
Here are my views on the culture of Islam. If this great nation were founded on its principles - today we would be a backward, vile nation, hated and feared by all our border neighbors!
Women would be second class property. True science would be somewhere in the 13th or 14th century. Jews, Christians, Buddist, or whatever religion other than Islam would only be allowed to exist at great peril to its Worshipers.
I do not think that these opinions are not held by others. And yes - they can be viewed as an attack on Islam, if speaking, or writing facts can be misconstrued as an attack!

I would guess he will not be playing the Arab Salah again in Indiana Jones 4.
Still, good to hear someone willing to counter Vigo Mortensen's far left retoric.

For some reason the global society comment gives me the creeps

My father worked with John Rhys-Davies in an episode of the Untouchables a few years back. I remember my father telling me Davies was very angry that the Al Capone character was protrayed more like a business man than a psychotic mobster. He even sent a letter to the President of the production company over the issue.
