Can you tell me why all those nice, sweet, decent appearing Iowans are voting for dems? I just don't get it,,those people look like solid middle america.

I don't know why. I think they've been brainwashed into believing the dems will solve all of their problems. Why else would the county I live in vote to reelect a dem gov after a major plant moves out? It still boggles my mind.
