Sorry...I wasn't clear. I agree that Gephart WON't run again. I was responding to someone who implied he'd resign now.I agree with you on that... He's speaking now and he sounds like a man ready to leave politics.

Dean said he was proud of those who endoresed him, and he included Jimmy Carter in his listBut Carter didn't endorse him, did he?
Is Dean on drugs? I am totally serious here.

...the Senator from France has yet to give his Victory speech.
How long before Teresa loses that high-fallutin' French accent?

..course some are familiar with the Dean speeches... they remember them from their youth in Berlin, before daddy was sent to the camp...... Aghhh! Now I know what his screaming hostile speeches remind me of.
I am so glad to see what I pray is the beginning of the end for the symbol of the Bush-Hating crowd.

Gephardt giving a speech heavy in nostalgia. Thanking every member of every labor union who has stood by his side.
Your fight has been my fight, and it will always be that way. (Looking for a VP nod I think.)
Thanking the people of the 3rd Congressional District of Missouri.
Thanking all the people of Missouri.
Thanking his staff. Finest people he has ever met.
I have said many more times than the media has wanted to hear that my mom was a scretary and my dad was a milk truck driver. My mom taught me to treat others as I would like to be treated. (I guess this means that President Bush can call HIM a miserable failure.)
To: Howlin
That's the cruelty of politics. Gephardt is giving his final good-bye and the Iowa station I'm watching on C-Span cuts away to a commercial.
To: BCrago66
Gephard is in my opinion basically a good guy. He stood by President Bush for the war in Iraq - when it was not to his political advantage to do so. Yes .. but then he turned around and called him a miserable failure

I wasn't kidding about my dog being scared either...
As soon as Dean began his rant, Mr. Grumps took off for his heavily fortified bunker under the bed...
It says a lot when your campaign speech scares bulldogs.
Hard to imagine Dean is having trouble "connecting" to mainstream voters.....hehe
To: Mo1
I'll help you snap out of it. Here.

El Poco Loco is downright presidential compared to Deano. While I am adamantly opposed to him politically, at least he takes defeat like a gentleman.
