He was down by contact, the officials just didn't realize it. But yes, if they don't blow the whistle, he's not down.

You do realize that the reason they didn't call it a late hit was because McNabb wasn't down right? he WAS down, but even if he wasn't, the league specifically prohibits throwing your entire weight upon a defenseless quarterback. that having been said, it's not the reason the panthers won.

Yawn. El Rushbo's amazingly insightful comments {presented after 18 hours of reflection and rehearsal} were exactly {and no more} what most of us thought during the game. Rush has done many great things. Football analysis is not one of them.
