Definitely, here's the telling lines:
"The victim's friends said that she was a stubborn risk taker who got angry at those who tried to stop her from doing things she wanted to do. The stunt was something she wanted to try, they said.
"She'd go all out for the thrills," said Royster, who just knew the victim for six months."
But of course everyone will blame the movie.

The sad thing is these fools should be charged for a crime. This one goes down to 'Movies dont kill people, people kill people.' There had to be a driver of the truck!!!

she was a stubborn risk taker who got angry at those who tried to stop her from doing things she wanted to do.There's more evidence for devolution than evolution.

More of the Baby-Boomer moral-liberal legacy of "You do your own thang and it's all nobody's business." and "Allow me to be irresponsible, and in return I'll allow you all to pay for the consequences of my irresponsibility." In this case, the business now belongs to the coroner who had to scrape her off the sidewalk, and the consequences belong to the friends and family left behind, as well as to the children of the future who will not have a merry-go-round in their park. In the meantime, the producers of the movie extolling irresponsibility and encouraging unneeded suffering are laughing all the way to the bank.
