GOP PRIMARY PROTEST VOTE
e-mail from Citizens Lobby | 1/18/2004 | Unknown

Posted on 01/19/2004 6:17:00 AM PST by JimRed

If your state is holding a "primary" vote for the Republican candidate for president, Citizens Lobby strongly urges you to cast a "blank" ballot -- OR write in a candidate of your choice.

We recommend Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan or Alan Keyes...

President Bush needs a wake call and your vote is a great way to send him a message.

Jim, when did you last give in to the highest bidder?

There is America, there is the Constitution, and there are those who gave their lives, fortune and all for the Republic, not the democracy.

Least you feel I haven't given my all, I carry scars from a gunshot wound while piloting a U.S. Army helicopter in Laos.

I do not wear my patiotism on my sleeve, but Hoverbug is the designation given to those who solo in a U.S. Army helicopter before becoming a pilot.

Two days before being shot, I was shot down. Two days before that I did things that awarded me a Silver Star. And yet I climbed back into a helicopter to futher my country's objectives for which I was shot.

You want someone who has paid the price. Here I am.

You go ahead and take the easy way out. If I'd taken the easy way, I'd have been in Canada drinking beer instead of getting my ass shot off in Laos.

Enjoy the easy way out Jim.

Hey, it's a long row to hoe. There ain't no easy way. No magic either. And you can't wish this stuff away with Libertarian type pipe dreams. It's going to take brute force and numbers and there's only one politcal party on the face of the earth with the power of numbers to get it done.

What does Fox have to do with Bush

Fox is the foreign leader who has told Bush to rewrite our immigration laws. In spite of the fact that most of our legal immigrants come from Mexico --- that's not enough for Fox --- he's demanding free health care, free education, open borders, legalized status for any Mexican that wishes to come here, and Bush was down there just last week meeting with him about his demands.

If we just needed immigrants, we could get plenty from a variety of places --- lots of Haitians, lots of S. Africans, Nigerians, Asians but this deal making with Fox is about something else.

And it seems you want to spit in their face by helping a demo get the Presidency.

I guess it wouldn't bother you one bit having Kerry, Clark, or Edwards as Commander in Chief. Actually Kofi Annan would be Commander in Chief if a demo is elected.

But what good are the Republicans to us when they support ending the Bill of Rights, such as signing the Campaign Finance Reform law? They seem to have zero fundamentals.

Yeah?

After getting my ass shot off and carrying the wounds for not quite 35 years, and then working as a Border Patrol Agent for 26 years, I hear you and your cronies tell me that amnestey ain't that bad.

It is that bad, and I've paid my dues.

South40, I think you're wrong.

He did? I am sure Bush would be as surprised as I am to hear that. Fitz, you just don't like anything out of Mexico. That is ok but please don't go over the edge.

I don't like it either, but I have more faith in Bush appointing conservative judges than a president Dean, Kerry, Clark, et al. CFR can be tossed out eventually if we ever get a conservative court. And it's a given that we'll never get a conservative court if we allow the Democrats to retake power.
