Is it inflammatory to say that a culture that has caused nothing but stagnation for almost 2,000 years is not as good as one that has produced the most stunning advancements in just a few hundred?

Arab culture is regressive by all standards and it's promulgation in the West while silencing any Western thought in their own countries is a tragedy.

Actually, the Middle East (primarily, the parts that are now Iran, Iraq, Egypt; technically, not Arab areas) was rightly known as the Cradle of Civilization, and had very advanced civilizations. However, when Islam arose and swept in during the 7th-8th centuries, it paralyzed them. Not many years after the arrival of Islam, these countries had ceased their cultural activities, which had been stifled by Islamic law and society, and thereafter devoted themselves mainly to piracy and conquest.

In other words, they've only been stagnating for about 1200 years, not 2000. The problem is not Middle Easterners, it's Islam.

No; what has actually happened is that white, western society has been conditioned to feel guilty for our superior culture and in that false sense of guilt we have allowed the encroachment of a dangerous ideology into Western society. That is as ignorant as deliberately putting yourself at risk of a deadly disease because you feel guilty for being healthy. Islam is a cultural cancer. They are what they are. They will not change. WE are the ones who have to fight the "disease" instead of facilitating it. If we fail to do so, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
