many have written me to tell me a Valkyrie cannot do a wheelie.
They would be wrong...
I am sure this bike can get its front wheel off the ground, heck , most bikes can. But this thing is a tank. Lifting the wheel and sustaining it at " 70 or 80mph " , just under hard acceleration ?????? I have some very , very serious doubts about that. Call me a skeptic.

The author spends a tremendous amount of time on a Valkyrie and is a big guy. I have no doubt that it can be done, I do doubt that he did this under these circumstances.
I guess that we will never know!!

HOwling! I think this squirrel lives in one of the oak trees in my backyard. It won't let my birds eat, and the cat runs from it. I suspect this happened in my neighborhood...yep....bet it did! ;-)

Sounds like a rare "angry drunk". (Aside from taunting dogs, most squirrels are philosophical when they've tipped a few.)

When I was twelve, my dad and I went deer hunting on the Fort Knox military reservation. We were sitting behind a large log overlooking a small valley when a chipmunk exploded out of the leaves, raced up the log, and ended up perching on my right shoulder. We stared at each other in absolute shock for about two seconds before I screamed and flung my arms up in the air. The chipmunk went airborne for about fifteen feet before hitting the leaves and taking off up a tree. If there were any deer within five miles of my location, they were heading away from me at top speed.
BTW, this article reminds me of Ray Stevens' song The Mississippi Squirrel.

Yeah, I saw this one. I didn't associate the term "squirrel grenade" with it, though.

Makes me remember my dear departed Chipper that I raised from birth, his not mine. He liked to terrorize my nanny, I would wake of a morning to blood curddling screams as Chipper cornered his prey, on top of the kitchen table, inside a closet, in the laundry room. She must have really needed the job.
