Iowa State Patrol - BOLO
my scanner | 1/18/2004 | me

Posted on 01/18/2004 3:43:02 PM PST by Keith in Iowa

Hehehehe...

Scanner traffic - ISP-BOLO Large, Blue tour bus with John Edwards on the side, Northbound on I-35 at the 156 milemarker, with off duty trooper following in excess of 90MPH...

Apparently, speed limits don't apply to Presidnet wannabe trial lawyer's bus drivers :)

Sounds like they might be pulling them over right now...

Maybe his internal polls were telling him its time to get the h*** out of the state. Of course, YOU'D step on the gas too if people were following you with pitchforks and torches.

My friends in Iowa tell me to not even go 5 mph over on the interstate as the troopers will pull you over.

I doubt this will make news beyond here...

I'm just trying to imagine a tour bus doing in excess of 90MPH...

Last I heard an on-duty trooper had located the bus, and clocked it at over 80mph.

90 mph in a bus? Shows poor judgement, IMHO.

Keep us posted.

Would 156 milemarkers be about the Slatter exit?

Indeed. That's exactly how these 'Next campaign stop, or bust' Democrats get killed -- Wellstone, Carnahan -- and then the unstable wacko Marxists over at DU blame the deaths on the VRWC.

That would be just south of Highway 3 in Franklin County.

Trooper made a traffic stop...about to "get the bus rolling again" so trooper could take another call. I imagine a citation was issued, but don't know for sure - I can't imagine letting them off with a warning.
