"They all have to cover there McNabb ass kissing. As far as I know Jim Nance is the only one who backed Rush"You're right. But henceforth refer to him as Donovan McQuit!

Commissioner Tagliabue just issued a statement that Jake Delhomme will be cut by the Panthers and replaced by Donovan McNabb for the Super Bowl. This will be done to meet the Affirmative Action policy of the NFL that at least 72.5% of the players in any game be African-American. Tagliabue was careful to note however that this policy is not a "qouta".

Both Coaches are good at coming up with a good Defense plan.
And they have just good offense. Should be low scoring. Maybe 17-10 or 21-17 at best.

There is something about entrepreneurial talent that I like. The Cats will beat the Pats. Bring 'em on!

LOL, except...
...We may get to that point
To: Mad_Tom_Rackham
I hope so? Remember Montana right after his prime?
I followed him to Kansas City...
Hey, wanna talk about spirit prevailing? Remember when 49ners came to Kansas City hot and all, and Chief's defense couldn't get the Niners off the field soon enough, so Joe could play, way back when?
Go Panthers!! May the football spirit continue....

We're already to that point when it comes to coaches in the NFL.

I thought you were a Packer fan! It's true. Been a dyed-in-the-wool Packers fan since I could say the word. But to openly weep over the result of a football game? If your dog dies, that's one thing. But professional sports? Plus, I was half-heardtedly giving him some $#!+.
To: wylenetheconservative
Apparently he was gutsy enough to stay in and at least try. I've never had a rib injury so I wouldn't know what sort of limitations McNabb had in throwing the ball. All I know is that I'm not going to trash McNabb for his efforts. It's not in my character to do so. I will say that his abilities to carry this team may be overrated. He needs receivers that can get open so he's not having to run with the ball or take the kinds of hits that he takes. It boils down to a point I made several days ago as to whether or not running QBs e.g., McNabb, Culpepper, Vick, are able to sustain careers based on their abilities to run the ball when receivers don't get open or protection breaks down. All three sustaained injuries at some point during the season. Vick's happened during the preseason and wound up not playing until Nov I believe.

That's the same excuse that will be used when Vick never gets it doen.
But brady didn't have a running game, either.

Tell that to the nuns of St. Catherine's sanctuary in Green Bay, Wis.Then they need to get a grip, too.
To: wylenetheconservative
The owners will be next.
Just change the name from 'NFL' to 'Negro Leagues' now and get it over with...
