I'm honestly surprised that any of the statues on Monument Avenue are allowed to still be standing. It may only be a matter of time before we see the city embroiled in some legal battle to have them razed, since no one seems to care about reality and truth. The fascists on the political left use the same tactics as their predecessors did in Russia and Germany, by erasing the truth from history and replacing it with the state-sanctioned version.
