BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- At least 23 people were killed -- most of them Iraqi civilians -- and more than 60 were wounded early Sunday when a suicide truck bomber detonated a half-ton of explosives near the U.S.-led coalition's headquarters, according to U.S. military sources.

Between this event and the Bradley event in Tikrit (a couple of days ago, mentioned towards the end of this report) it seems there's a new approach of using very large IEDs/car bombs. Both of these were in the 500-1000# range. The Bradley event *flipped the Brad* and pretty well shredded it.

My son came on line amd I was getting readey to talk to him when the bomb went off, he went off IM he probalbly had to return to his unit. Hope I hear from him today.
