This is a conservative gathering place, not a tool of some GOP groupie mutual admiration society.

Yes it is and a good debate should be encouraged. Now I see you would like to see your vote diluted and a Democrat elected by 40% of the vote frome here on out so we could all really bitch. Then we could do away with the 2nd amendment, have abortion on demand without a fight, pay 70% of our earnings in taxes, get rid of the pledge, have homosexual marriage legalized by the Supreme Court, let the U.N. run our foreign policy and use the world court and its laws as a basis for our laws not the Constitution.

Because you see if you are honest you know Bush would do the opposite of what I just wrote.

That is what I am doing, some here just want anyone who does not agree with them to leave. Now I see you would like to see your vote diluted and a Democrat elected by 40% of the vote frome here on out so we could all really bitch.

The least votes that go any non-conservative party, the better.

" Because you see if you are honest you know Bush would do the opposite of what I just wrote."

Here's another example of the reality distortion field operating on a victim.

Let's pick a few points and remember what Bush has done.
* "have abortion on demand without a fight"
Tell me what legislation has Bush signed that will criminalize abortion and has no loop-holes big enough to drive a Mack truck through. (Hint: the answer is not the PBA Bill. Go here for a hard-hitting analysis: http://www.operationsaveamerica.org/press/press/031105partialbirthabortionban-bogus-legislation.htm)

* "have homosexual marriage legalized by the Supreme Court" and "use the world court and its laws ... [and] not the Constitution"
OK Normy, where was the bill of impeachment when Sandra Day O'Connor appealed to international law in the majority opinion that overturned Texas' sodomy law last summer? If the GOP was silent on this one, you can be sure they'll be OK with a ruling in favor of homosexual marriage. (By the way, there was only one national political party that addressed this outrage: http://www.constitutionparty.org/releases/6_28_03_cpnc_denounced_pro-sodomy_ruling.htm)

I could go on but I've got to check on some other comments. I await links to actions by the GOP/Bush Administration on these two issues to contradict my point.
