"He did this crazy turnaround thing and literally attached himself to my chin," Stiller said, "and then he didn't let go. He was holding on to my chin. It was completely surreal. This ferret was on my chin.

Sounds kinda like Bill Murray's experiences with Scooter on the set of Ground Hog Day. There is a lesson there for actors seeking to work with co-stars who have teeth bigger than their brains - be it a ferret or Barbra Streisand.

"It's not the warmest, cuddliest animal," she said. "It's just a big rat at the end of the day."

So is Jennifer Anniston.

Ferrets will burn your house down if you aren't careful. They love to gnaw on electrical cords. Had a friend who lost a lot frozen meat when her ferret chewed through the wiring behind her fridge.

Get a rat.

There's been a lot of discussion on the ferret Web sites," Staci Wilson, 37, of Ferrets Magazine, told The Post. "People are upset with the actors for saying disparaging things about ferrets..."

And has 'Gerbils Magazine' gotten an apology out of Richard Gere yet?

One of our sons had some pet rats for a while, and although we were dubious at first they were really very friendly and gentle. They used to run up and down his arms and sit on his head.

His girlfriend, on the other hand, had a couple of ferrets that she kept in our house for a while, and I couldn't see that they had any redeeming social value.

One rabies shot...? did they actually check to see if this animal had rabies...? cause us poor folk down here had to have a series of shots for suspected rabies.

Ferrets aren't my most popular animal. They are good for canine distemper research and killing mice where cats can't be used. That is their only redeeming qualities IMHO. Jills and Hobs mating are an animal kingdom example of a forcible and violent rape. I worked with a couple of hundred of them for research and still can't get the smell out of my skin.

They started talking about weasels, so for a minute I thought they might be talking about former general and democrat nomination contender Clark. Then, I realized that comparing Clark to a weasel would be grossly unfair and insulting to weasels.

I find little difference between Ben Stiller and the ferret. Both are rat like creatures.

I had a friend who used to do weed and had a stupid ferret...he would blow the smoke into the elongated rats face and watch it stumble around... I think it escaped only to become a racoons lunch.

We have four ferrets here at home right now, two that belong here and two rescued ferrets that our animal rescue organization will eventually adopt out to good homes. I'm an animal lover, but I have to say these are certainly not my favorite animals. If I walk in the room while they're out of the cage playing, a couple of 'em immediately make a beeline for my feet, trying to get at my toes to bite them. I also don't like the musky smell.

People in general are very misinformed on these animals, too. They tend to think of them as warm, soft, and cuddly. They're not. Their hair is rather coarse, actually, and doesn't feel at all like you might think from looking at them. And they're not cuddly. If they're awake, they're usually wide open, looking for trouble. Weird animals.

"Their teeth are sharp, they're sharp like razors," Stiller told reporters during a recent promotional junket.

Their teeth are very sharp. One bit my ex husband on his hand and he had to go for stitches. LOL

In addition, ferrets also make make excellent Computer Programmers or Dental Hygienists. However, as someone pointed out earlier, this requires a lot of time, training, and patience. Otherwise, they just pee on the carpet.
