GOOD NEWS!
Tests are back from Amanda and Tony's baby. They are negative and the baby is fine. No downs syndrome detected.
The baby was determined to be a female and her name will be Kendall GRACE.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and I will post an update on Little Peyton when I get it.

I am happy for you and yours. But I must say, having a child with Downs Syndrome is not the end of the world. My brother has Downs Syndrome and is one of the kindest, most giving, purest of heart people you'll ever meet. Yes he is slow to grasp the complexities of life but he has the simplest things down pat.

In the original thread Downs was called the happy gene. Kindness, joyful, loving, and pure are just a few words that describe these special people.
