In 3d hour of today's Limbaugh show, Rush was referring to a newspaper article from California. Was having a little trouble remembering some mundane details of the story and remarked "I'm having a little trouble remembering all the details of the story. I got it off Free Republic this morning!"

PS, If Rush reads this, I know who has your Grandfather's first set of law books, along with a letter from Westlaw congratulating him on opening his practice, etc.

I dialed and redialed and... redialed. I waited an hour and a half I think. WELL WORTH IT. Rush is the perfect gentleman on the radio as well as his call screeners. Can't say that about Sean Hannity when his call screener hung up on after waiting for over an hour. I'm getting too old and crotchety for calling in, Rush is only exception.

I doubt he would post much, we'd be mobbing him day-in-day-out if he accidently let his identity be known.

You know what is so cool about this speculation is that it is like wondering if someone famous was visting their small town

We are really our own community and it is an honor that someone famous with substance actually visits this community

Listening to Rush 5 years ago is how I found out about Free Republic. He's been a Freeper for years.

I found FR through Drudge where there was a link to FR.

Something happened years back, and Drudge cut the link to FR and doesn't mention FR on his radio show. - Tom
