Perhaps Belgium will now bring charges against the dead American servicemen who helped liberate their rotten country during World War II...

Holy cow- you mean that this Belgian court can now only hear cases involving Belgian citizens?

What a great step forward in legal thinking.

That's right. FN of Belgium was given contracts to produce small arms for the U.S. military. This includes the M16, M240, and the M249. Maybe Belgium would like to bring charges against the American servicemen who continue to use these weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are actually made in the U.S. by FN's subsidiary, FN Manufacturing.
