There are many ways to suffer, and I feel all of them in this firestorm of sadness. It robs my sleep, saps my strength, and changes me so much I hardly recognize myself.
Ease my misery, Lord. Clear my mind as though washing streaks from a window. Hold me when I cry; send others to hold me, too. Remind me that this is temporay.

God has Jan now, and she's no longer in pain or ill. MamaB, you will see your darling daughter again, but she's still in your heart and thoughts. It's doubly sad that she was taken when so young...and seems unfair, yet she's finished her journey here and has just gone home. God loves you, and He wouldn't give you pain He didn't think you could weather. Just ask His help, and He'll be there, holding you close.
