But in his defense, he's astoundingly stupid about how Washington works (no really, stupidity is a defense)As we used to say in the military, stupidity is not a court-martial offense.

Even the liberal TV & print media yesterday gave scant coverage to Ted Kennedy's speech. He is off the radar screen! The whole country now realizes what a moron he and the Democrat Party have become! Vote against all Democrats!
He isn't off the media's radar screen. They purposefully ignore him when he's spouting this easily rebuttable hypocritical nonsense, which they *should* be calling him on and reporting about especially considering his past Iraq comments.
When he does fit the model of the idea or issue the media wants to push, they always put Teddy front and center.

They're just trying to stack the deck before the SOU address. They're trying to "muddy the waters" so to speak to get people to either ignore the President's speech or selectively listen.
Is it just me .. or did the repubs do this to Clinton. I don't remember it, and I was paying pretty close attention during that time.
This is just more of the DNC "leadership" in action .. or, the Clintons respectfully honoring their President. (do I really need to add /sarcasm?)

Yes he is .. and the Clintons use him .. because I believe they have seen his FBI file. Teddy will do the Clintons' bidding and bash Bush anytime he is asked. His senate seat is safe and he can spew the Hillary hate speech while she is allowed to look moderate. It's all part of Hillary's plan to pummel Bush into the ground.
What seems funny to me .. if Hillary's not running against Bush in 2004, and she doesn't want any other dem to win in 2004 .. then why is she out there lambasting Bush ..?? Just for the fun of it ..?? Curious ..??

Am I a conspiracy nut, well maybe a little? When you follow the antics of Kennedy, Bonnier, Dashle, Gephard , Clinton etc, you get the feeling of some sort of colusion going on. IMO, they owe their position to 'big money' support who also have physical clout. You either go along with all you can muster or get out and make room for someone that will.

Hmmmm? I just can't even picture the Clintons doing anything other than their own desires.
Yes .. I'm sure they get pressure from people .. but how many times have the Clintons taken money from people .. promised them things .. used them .. and then tossed them away? If the money these people gave had been as powerful as you say .. they Clintons would not have been able to toss these people away.

I frankly don't care if you agree with me or not; if you think this war was a no-brainer political coup for the president, you're a moron. If you think this White House saw it as such from the beginning, you're a moron with ADD.You go, Jonah!
