Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch - a lifelong Democrat who now supports President Bush - said Wednesday that Democratic presidential front-runner Howard Dean's suggestion that Bush was warned in advance of the 9/11 attacks renders him unfit for office. "It really is terrible that he did that," Koch said of the Dean conspiracy theory, during an interview with radio host Sean Hannity.
"That alone should bar him from any office - including dishwasher," the former mayor added.
Last month, Dean told Washington, D.C. radio host Diane Rehm that he'd heard Bush received a 9/11 tip-off from the Saudis, calling it "an interesting theory."

I listened to the interview. Koch broiled the lunatic left rats alive. He is an urban Zel Miller who is livid that hi party has been highjacked by the Stalinists.

Makes you wonder why there are no Millers and Kochs running for for the Dem nomination for President. These guys are worlds better than all of the dwarves combined.

Actually Former Mayor Koch likes the centrist dwarfs like Lieberman, but recognizing that their cause is hopeless.
Koch says he will vote for Bush. Koch he dislikes 90% of his policies, but says politics stops at the waters edge and our security must be fiercely defended. He says the front runner demorats are totally incompetent and dangerous to this nation.

Koch is old school, Kennedy liberal. Far more conservative than todays bacteria.

Pretty well dismissed all those running and most of the party as well a month or so ago when he said that the 'rats "didn't have the stomach to fight international terrorism" the way it must be fougnt today....

Eighteen dead from a Blackhawk Down in Somalia was enough to make Clinton run for cover. The current crop of Dems are just as spineless.

There are STILL sane democrats in the world! (I used to be one) What is happening to this party is the reason why I left it. When I hear a Dem making sense, I listen to them. Ok, so I don't listen to them very often......

That's exactly what I am talking about. There ARE Dems out there, like Koch and Miller, who can offer alternatives to Bush, yet understand that to back off our current course of foreign policy would be suicidal. Given the ten Dems running for the nomination, all of them offer suicide as a foreign policy!
Why can't a major national party come up with a single serious, credible candidate? It's really astonishing beyond words how awful the situation that party got itself into has become. Not one is anything short of terminally clueless!

At this point, it doesn't look like Dean will get the nomination.

If Giulianni runs against Hillary and wins, her presidential aspirations for '08 would be dead in the water. Four more years of "her" book tours?
To: Carolinamom
I was thinking about this today: when she runs in 2006, you know somebody is going to ask her if she's going to run in 2008.
Think she'll tell the truth?
