Were I an Inuit (they don't really like being called Eskimo) I would not think I would have to buy ice. That point aside, the LP has been around for over 20 years and in that time the electorate has largely ignored the party. There are reasons for this and one of them is that the Republicans like to talk like Reagan and vote like Carter. In the time that all you so-called conservatives have been voting for the Republicrats, have you gotten any bones tossed to you by the elites like the Bushes? Is the govt smaller and less intrusive then it was 20 years ago. Sure, the Republicrats had a convenient excuse; a dem in the whitehouse, dem majority in HOR, dem majority in Senate. Where are the excuses now? The have all 3 and what do they decide to give you? A much larger DOE, free govt drugs for greedy-geezers, deficit spending, CFR, amnesty for illegals.
The real fools are the ones that believe that they must work within the 2-party system. It only takes a plurality of people to wake up. Unfortunately, common sense is in short supply and common sense seems to have been outlawed.
