Our choice, mad dash to socialism with the dems, or a fast pace to same destination via pubs. Big choice.

......because America won't survive with a democrat. That may be the only reason.
I wonder if it can survive with this Republican.

Because just like President Reagan, he's not a perfect PLEASE don't not mention Reagan and GWB in the same post, much less the same sentence.
R.R. was not perfect ... GWB is not ....... in the same league.

Higher spending in nearly every Area of government
Continued ban on many types of Guns
Legalization of millions of people who broke the law to get in
Just because he is 'better' than a liberal does not mean he is God and should automatically get my vote.
Pray for God's will..

If sitting home or supporting a third party candidate helps elect Dean, how much loaf will we have? You are not seeing the forest.
The neo-cons and other big-government Pubbies must be given a stake through the heart and be buried 18 feet deep.

If he lives and breathes our safety, why is he calling out for anyone with two legs to cross our border illegally and get legal status? If he cares about the economy, why is he setting us up for huge future tax increases by expanding the government? I'm not saying I won't vote for him, just that he's giving me very little reason.
I know, I don't like it either. It's unfortunate that the Republicans in congress don't stand up to his liberal policies.
The Dems always do things incrementally, and I don't think conservatives should expect to get everything all at once. The problem is, it seems we're still going in the wrong direction. At least he banned partial birth abortion.

I voted for Bush in 2k, now it was in NY so its not like it did a ton of Good but I am in MN now and its a bit more in play. With Drug Give away's, weakend boarders, gun bans, and a more than 60% incease in education spending I wont vote for him in 2k4

Bush has refused to veto unconstitutional legislation, has presided over dramatic increases in the size and power of the federal government, and inaugurated a new and hugely expensive entitlement. To top it all off, he now proposes to reward illegal aliens for their illegal entry into our country, to abdicate his responsibility to defend our laws and our borders, and to bring in millions of law wage Third World immigrants to further depress the wages of Americans and to fuel the fires of political correctness and multiculturalism. He has not earned my vote.
If Bush loses the White House, maybe the Republicans will nominate a real conservative in 2008. In any event, a Republican Congress will largely keep a Democrat President in check and would reliably oppose the sort of lunacy (such as the Bush amnesty) it might very well pass if Bush proposed it.

Keep trying. You're talking to one and you haven't even come close yet.
To: quidnunc
yup keep ripping on them then when in large numbers they turn out to vote for a third party (large enough to make a difference) don't cry about it. I will not be used the same way the Democratic party uses African Americans..

What's not to be happy about?

Let the BushBots crow as much as they want. As soon as Bush signs the extension of the assault weapons ban, he's lost the election.
