You know, I don't know why some I know continue to make fun of the Washington Times by calling it "The Moonies." I mean the truth is the truth no matter by whom it is spoken. /battery off on literacy generator

People in the Northeast don't talk about their religion. They don't get into that "spread the gospel" mandate up there or what? How strange.

PS: The Christian Science Monitor is also a fine paper even if the religion that owns is just as stupid.
As long as it is true - who cares what the source? But we can still make fun of them.

Mr. Dean remained an Episcopalian until the church he attended in Burlington, Vt., refused to give up land for a bike path he wanted built along Lake Champlain. Upset over the decision, he quit and joined a local Congregationalist church. "He quit his church over a bike path," said former Vermont state Sen. John McClaughry, who ran against Mr. Dean in 1992. "That really cracked me up." I pray that Dean would accept the truth of Jesus Christ, and step down from the race.

I live in what some consider to be the belt buckle of the Bible Belt - Alabama. I have no doubt that the DEMS here will not respond well to Dean's religious pandering. They may be democrats, but they know a line-o-crap when they see it. As the lone Conservative that frequents Joe's Barber Shop every other Tuesday, I know that what I'm saying is accurate.

I imagine that a lot of these same democrats who are pi$$ing and moaning about this will line up and pull the lever for dean if he is the dem nominee.
