A Good Rifle...Never thought about doing that

,,, see? Firearms are wonderful things for encouraging creative thought!

The 2000 Thunderbird? I've only seen photos of recent T-birds, one of which was at the Detroit Motor Show, where Ray Charles was shown in the front passenger seat on a big stage. That looked quite retro. I'm outside the US, so I don't see many new US vehicles.

Where are you???

I have to think about this Firearms creative thinking a bit more. I held a rifle once dropped it found it un-manageable and figured the most I could handle was a BB gun.
Now pistols I do okay and I was a pretty good shot at the firing range at the local firing range, but I am sure the surfers would have something to say if they saw me out there with a pistol trying to shoot sharks something we have a problem with out here at times in fact near Camp Pendleton in Oceanside..

,,, I killed a goat on Dec 30. Apart from that it's been ages since I got out. Wild pigs, ducks, geese, goats, opposums, rabbits, hares, several varieties of deer and, down in the South Island, Himalayan Thar can be hunted. We have no raccoons, badgers, foxes, mountain lions, snakes, bears or roadrunners here.

Out of curiosity do you eat everything you kill? like the Goat. I have never eaten a goat and besides seeing them at a petting zoo I don't beleive I would eat a goat.

Wild meat has a smell of the few times I smelled it which was long ago, but I am not sure what Goat would smell like.

All those animals you mentioned, I take it you hunt them at certain times?

,,, I only kill animals to eat them - no other reason.

,,, duck season is in May and it's quite a short season. Apart from that, hunting for anything else is 365 days a year with no permit costs.

in New Zealand is hunting the sport to partake in?

,,, there's four million people here - not even the popualtion of many US cities. If you check out a map you'll see the topography is challenging in many parts for lots of activities, while for others it presents great opportunities. We don't have far to travel to ski, sail, hunt, swim, fish or anything else outdoors. There are around 460,000 registered firearms holders here - or as they like to say "voters", so that's a little over 10% of the population with rifles. Handguns are rare here but you can have them if you're in a pistol club.

I haven't tried aligator meat but if the opportunity came up I would.

Since I love the beach I have did research on the most beautiful beaches in the world which New Zealand was one and also I see that there has been quite a few Champion Surfers out of your country, so the beachy part of New Zealand I somewhat know of.

You said almost a half a miilion people have firearm permits is that for hunting? or for protection. You must not have alot of crime there, the problem in this country is that most of the criminals have the guns which makes it hard to convince people that gun ownership is a good thing. But I do believe people have a right to bear arms, I have no idea how to curb the criminals from obtaining firearms.
