Bill, I don't know what I will do on election day. As one Freeper told me yesterday, nobody cares about my one vote and I'm not very important in the scheme of things.

I believe the horror of this illegal problem transcends politics, and I agree with you we can't support a President who refuses to see the danger to the American way of life if open borders continues, and amnesty is given out like Popsicles.

However, I will not vote for a Democrat.

Swamp,

I too was considering staying home. Now I think that I'll actually go out and vote for whoever the dems nominate. After CFR, the Education Bill, the Prescription Drug Bill, and this latest immigration travesty, I've seen enough of Bush's compassionate conservatism. It's starting to smell too much like good old fashioned liberalism.

Electing a democrat with a republican congress will ensure four years of gridlock - which means that in 2008 America will be better off than it would have been with another four years of the type of proposals that have been coming out of the White House since 2000.
