The overriding concern at the time was the Juanita Broaddrick story on the front pages of American newspapers and journals. Something clearly had to be done and quickly, and Kosovo turned out to be the something.

Note the absence of anything resembling concern over Albanian Kosovars in the list. Albanians, like chechens and palestinians, are feral people. No sane person actually gives a rat's ass over what happens to them.
Ok, it's time to take a breath and stop letting this al-Qaeda apologist get under your skin. Yes, Kosovo has been overrun by the KLA narco-terrorists and the vicious Albanian nationalists (represented on FR by such types as Hoppy), but there's no way we should let that anger spill over to those Albanians who managed to live in peace with their Serb neighbors in Kosovo (and who will do so again when Kosovo is reunited with Serbia).
Don't let the idiots drag you down to their level!
