[history]
BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Chances are, Democratic Party consultants won't take credit for the hardest-hitting anti-Bush ad to air on network TV this month. That honor will likely go MoveOn.org, an online group that has become too potent for establishment politicians to ignore.

"MoveOn paved the way, evolving in six short years from something of a cybergeek forum to arguably the largest and most forceful voice in digital-era politics." Road apples. That's us!

Is this "headline" supposed to be some sort of newsflash or something?

A couple of our computer experts, have proven that MoveOn lied about the Hitler commercials not being sanctioned by the administrators. They went into the computer codes that were used and somehow were able to prove that it was all planned. They have shared this knowledge with some of the major media and we should be hearing about the anti-Semetic tendencies of the group some time early next week.
In addition another Freeper has shared the sites that Dean is using to solicit campaign donations in Japan through decoy inter-net sites in the US. It should be an interesting week for the left.

Let me get this right... Moveon.org was founded to move on from the Clinton rape rooms?
Right!

IIRC, Moveon was created during Monicagate by a couple of guys who claimed to be non-political, but just couldn't bear to see Clinton unfairly harassed by Ken Starr.

Years before Howard Dean's use of the Internet dazzled analysts and propelled him to the front of the 2004 Democratic presidential field, MoveOn paved the way, evolving in six short years from something of a cybergeek forum to arguably the largest and most forceful voice in digital-era politics. |

Gee.
And all this money can't be used 60 days before the election.
Right?
Or was that only supposed to apply to conservative interest groups?
Or will these be "political get-out-the-vote" ad's?

Well I sure hope it is. Sadly though, I think both issues will be ignored by the major media, and you know the reason why. As long as we and other conservatives don't let that information die we should still come out alright.

I just visited moveon.org. I'd heard about it and it sounded big and bad and scary--whoooo hooo hooo. It has old news on one panel, old news in the middle and donation news everywhere else. I think the author of the article was copying all of our strong points and pasting in Moveon's name.

I don't know the Freepers were talking to folks at the WSJ, they had several phone conversations with them and the WSJ was very interested.

I have a bring it on sticker, from 0cents.com, on my truck. I swear it got me out of a ticket this afternoon.

Seems to me that moveon.org is going to be hit by the CFR laws... They won't be able to buy advertising 30 or 60 days before the election...
I'm sure that the major, elite media will find a way around it... Maybe by "donating" air time to moveon...
