It is so sad that the words of this great 'voice of reason' always fall on deaf ears.

It is even worse than presented here. Terri Schiavo is profoundly disabled, however conscious she might be. She is unable to speak or write, or to communicate in any way that can be observed in any way other than by visual observation. To a judge with normal vision, this might not present any problem.
But according to other items posted on FR, Judge Greer is visually impaired, to the extent that he is unable to obtain a Florida driver's license. This does not disqualify him from his juducial duties in most cases, but ought to have been grounds for recusal in this one. That he has failed to withdraw from this case is gross judicial misconduct, and ought to be grounds for impeachment and removal, as well as clear grounds to throw out all previous findings and have a new trial.

From the Article: if Terri were a condemned murderer...the ACLU would never stop suing. Yet...the ACLU wants Terri to die.
-----
And there are people with nothing obvious to gain who feel this same way. I've come to the conclusion that there are forces here that we don't know about. There is some sort of "brotherhood" or network at work here. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would judges rule in this manner if there wasn't some sort of blood oath involved? I have absolutely nothing to base this on, and I hate sounding like a complete "kook", but this case defies ALL my logic.
Still we must fight on.

"Refusing to rule is not the same thing at all as studying the record."
