Well, usually I had my $8 ready (that's how much it was for a small soup, which came with a fruit, some bread and probably some other stuff), so I would give my order, hand him the money and then step to the left, as the sign ordered.

But one day, I only had a $10 bill, so after I gave him my order and my money, I stood there while waiting for my change and he just glared at me and jabbed his finger, pointing to the left.

I got teased at work for the next couple of days because of that, which only proves that going for lunch with co-workers is a bad idea. :D
