IMO, Terri's money paid for Felos legal feels (secret fee petition) and also paid for the FANCY HOME THAT MICHAEL SHARES WITH JODI AND THEIR TWO OFFSPRING. Buying a home with Terri's money is a good way to launder money and provides a roof over the new family's head.

He has enriched himself through use of her rehab funds to have her put to death...which in turn will allow him to profit by not having to split the marital property as he would have in a divorce.
