I suppose that the military's infrared capabilities could be sensitive enough to pick out the body heat of a human and ignore anything outside that range. After all, infrared frequncy is directly proportional to the heat of the object. All that would be required is to build a good enough filter.

Actually, the video is pretty standard quality infrared. Note the exhaust of the tractor is bright white, and the ground it just drove over shows IR contrast from the undisturbed ground around it.

FLIR is to allow night vision via relative thermal imaging so that the crew can see at night, as much as they can, not just humans in varying layers of clothing.

The mosquovites fear our choppers and they shoot at them at every opportunity, killing more of us than they should, including a Little Bird's woman pilot last week.

We have kill zones and curfews AND armed patrols by our good men and women to minimize terrorists' war crimes.
