Apparently this is a clip of a longer video of an Apache gunship engaging Iraqis.
Warning: This video is graphic!!!

I was wondering what three guys working on a what appears to be a tractor did to deserve summary execution.

I'm an ex-infantry squad leader - probably getting back in to go to Iraq over the next couple of months. We'll see... Let me just say this about the video, though:
These videos are not fun to watch. Yes, we are watching the bad guys get theirs. Yes, I like to see the bad guys get killed instead of doing any harm to Americans. But PLEASE... all casual observers... understand this...
Killing is not exactly an easy business. Most of the soldiers I know who have had to kill another man are affected by it. Even though you did the right thing, it stays with you. Even in the "it's me or him" situation. It's a grim business and anyone with a conscious cannot help but to feel the weight of it.
That doesn't mean these soldiers should hesitate to kill the enemy. Far from it. Bad men deserve to die.
You'll often see jubilant reactions from soldiers on the field. It feels good to win. It feels good to walk away alive. A hearty congratulations should always be extended to the men that perform their grim duty.
But, please... PLEASE... remember that it IS a grim duty. Respect these men for having the intestinal fortitude to carry it out. But don't wallow in the moment.

In the middle of the night? and I did not see anyone turning a wrench.
What they did is getting on the bad side of some really bad assed people.

Both of those are phenominal videos. That poor guy was hiding underneath the truck when he was riddled. Anyone else have more videos like these? We should do a "Greatest Hits" of these and send it to rogue nations...

Does Iraq even have any farming land that has tractors?
Those sure appear to be jihadists up to no good.

Any word on when this was taken?
From finnman69's post #9
The video opens with the helicopter tracking a man in a pickup truck north of Baghdad on Dec. 1, one day after the 4th Infantry Division engaged in the bloodiest battles with Iraqi insurgents since the end of major combat.

You'll often see jubilant reactions from soldiers on the field. It feels good to win. It feels good to walk away alive. A hearty congratulations should always be extended to the men that perform their grim duty. But in the hearts of moral men there is always the nagging wishful doubt that it could have been done differently and that the hope that the killing will stop soon.

careful editing by DUmmies at ABC removed the SAM launcher portion, . . .
It might be me, but I swear that the second guy is going for the SAM after the first guy is ripped. He's digging like a Banshee.

We could possibly have that peace when all the jihadis end up like these 3.
Even then, someone else will try to screw with America, and get this too.
