Clintons need to sabatoge him as well for Hillary to run in '08. Well, they know why Clark was fired just as much as Bush does.

Clark will, IMHO, come out during the general election campaign and promise to only serve one term. That way, he can keep the "outsider" label. It sets up Hillary well.

Now, FNC is going on about his religion problem. John Gibson just went on the air about Dean quitting his church over the bicycle path. FUNNY! No way can Dean do this conference without looking really stupid.

Dear Howard:
You might try blaming it on eating a "bad turkey sandwich in Laredo." Hope I at least helped a little bit.
Sincerely,

Does anybody seriously challenge that a person can come to the reasonable conclusion that 'the Iowa caucuses as dominated by special interests,' saying that they "don't represent the centrist tendencies of the American people, they represent the extremes?"
Is the trouble because he changed his mind about it a few years later? To me, his first comment actually makes more sense and rings as more true.
This is such a non-story. He had one opinion about it before he got involved in a caucus, and has a different opinion (maybe more palatable and self serving, sure) after getting more experience with the caucus.
This is a 'scandal?' This is absurd.

Clintons need to sabatoge him as well for Hillary to run in '08. You mean '04. There's no way her shelf life extends another four years, unless she runs this year. Also, she can't survive the primaries -- she'd have to talk. The only way for her to get the nomination without talking is to be drafted. They probably figure she can coast on a fawning press until the general election.

I thought Clark would be more formidable also, until he opened his mouth concerning abortion.
I cannot imagine that anyone who favors unfettered abortion rights, and who says that science, religion and law have no role in abortion, will ever be elected president.

This is absurd. Go figure!
