i don't understand the good it's going to do to turn around a flight with a bomb threat. i mean if it's gonna go off won't it go off anywhere? i'll just wait and see what happens and pray it's nothing serious. Sure. I wonder what you would say if the captain came on "Ladies and gentlemen we welcome you aboard our flight today. We're ten minutes out of O'Hare and ground control has alerted us that a bomb might be on board. Our flight time will be three hours and ten minutes. Have a pleasant flight."

yes i understand that scenario. i just thought the plane was farther into it's route ... thought turning around meant something else.. i guess i am brain dead today...
you do have to wonder if this kind of stuff is going to cripple airtravel.
