[history]
One lesson is abundantly clear in "The Apprentice," the new reality show that positions Donald Trump as a demigod. Money -- even The Donald's billions of dollars -- can't buy good hair. With his seedy combover, which perches on his forehead like a mohair racoon, the world-famous real estate baron is living proof that conspicuous consumption does not necessarily include a personal Fab Five.

I liked Kristi too. Who knows how much lemonade they would have sold if she was in group leader.
I don't know about Trump favoring attractive women though. His right-hand-gal was pretty. I am a little surprised that most of the women are fairly attractive but most of the men could use some help. And as for Sam, he's a real nut. Is he the same one that interrupted Trump and said "let me finish"?

Also, what were those men thinking by selling lemonade next to a smelly fish market?!?? Idiots! LOL And no pedestrian traffic either.

My brother works at one of Trump's buildings in Manhattan. For gosh sakes, get us the scoop. :)

For gosh sakes, get us the scoop. :) No scoop to give :) He's just a lowly porter. But the tenants are all filthy rich and tip him nice. He's always calling me up to try and impress with stories of meeting people like Janet Jackson and Vanna White. Unfortunately, I ain't impressed with celebs but I pretend to be bedazzled to make him feel special. LOL.

I know the outcome of the final episode. Trump ends up firing everybody. If it's a hit, they're going to have a sequel.

My favorite part was when the girl "most likely to be fired" that stockbroker, told Trump's girlfriend how LUCKY SHE WAS! The girlfriend looked incredulously at her and said, "Aren't you going to say he's lucky too?" It was a great moment!

Show is rerun again Saturday night at 8. It depends on where you are. Here in South Florida it is being rebroadcast at 9 PM EST. I DEFINITELY will watch it again! BTW, my friend, UBERSTUDENT and businesswoman, Jessica from Wuhan, China, would have definitely won this constest hands down. I told her to watch tonight to see how easy her competition would have been for her.

EDGY? Every time he spoke about Trump I thought of Rupert Pupkin! BINGO! When King of Comedy first came out it got only lukewarm reviews but the more I watch that movie the more I realize what a genius DeNiro was in the role of Rupert Pupkin. I really loved the part where Pupkin was in the middle of his basement taping and then had to interrupt to scream at his mother.

I just looked -- on the West Coast it's 9 pm our time.
I plan to watch it.

I hope she doesn't win. Did you see where it said she worked at the White House 4 years ago as a political consultant(I think)? I kind of have to root for the girl from Wisconsin, but if/when she leaves, we shall see. I did enjoy the show. I missed it last week but they showed it again last evening.

Oh dear. I forgot about that. Are you sure she is the one who said that? If so, then I'll have to dislike her on principle. lol I haven't got all their names and faces organized yet. I plan on watching tonight. I'll let ya know my thoughts later this evening.

I may be wrong, but I am fairly sure she is the one. I already have my DVR set to record tonight's episode. Phooey, I always thought I would stay away from reality TV and here I am!

I bust my gut laughing tonight when Sam curled up in a fetal position on the floor and fell asleep right in the middle of when he was supposed to be working. I am convinced that Sam is MENTAL. He didn't get fired because I am convinced that Trump wants to keep Sam around for laughs. Jason, the team manager, looked like he was going to cry when he was fired. I could see that coming right from when Jason for some incredibly STUPID reason REFUSED to meet with his client for whom they were preparing an ad campaign. How dumb was that?
Meanwhile all was NOT sweetness on the women's team even though they won again. Apparently there are conflicts with the Omarasu woman who worked in the White House. She and another women got into a major b*tchfight. Then the other woman said something about "the pot calling the kettle black" and I went "UH-OH! Poor choice of words." Sure enough, Omarasu (sp?) brought up the whole racial thing and called the other woman a racist. From the coming attractions for next week's episode the fighting between them gets even worse.
I definitely recommend this show. I couldn't watch any of the Survivor shows after the first one nor most of the other reality shows (except Joe Schmo) but The Apprentice is extremely fascinating. And I'm wondering if Omarasu ever had an Oval Office encounter with Billy.

Thanks for your summary of the current show -- they haven't had it on the West Coast yet, and I forgot all about it, as I did last week. You just reminded me.
But now I'll try to catfch it -- it starts in an hour, 8:30 pm PST.
