BINGO! When King of Comedy first came out it got only lukewarm reviews but the more I watch that movie the more I realize what a genius DeNiro was in the role of Rupert Pupkin. I really loved the part where Pupkin was in the middle of his basement taping and then had to interrupt to scream at his mother.
