Because she's definitely a weaker candidate than Mel Martinez. Because she has poor approval ratings. Because polls show her losing to Betty Castor in the general election. Can you provide a link to those polls. I ask because KH told me that she was told she would help BUSH if Castor won.

I ask because KH told me that she was told she would help BUSH if Castor won. I suppose it's possible. There's a common theory that having a woman prominently on the slate increases the slate's performance across the board. Although Harris gets beat badly by Castor among women -- according to the Mason-Dixon poll.
