I attend a 'Welcome Home Katherine' Dinner give by Sarasota GOP in early Dec. One of KH's staffer's told me she 'works out' faithfully from 7-8AM daily to maintain her fitness & energy.

Trust me that IS Katherine on that horse. She is not only beautiful on the outside.....she has an inner beauty! I didn't think she could get any better but she has really 'grown' from her House experience. She's a warm natural articulate speaker; a fast thinker who is great in a debate and a very hard working campaigner.

I had a chance to talk to her after the dinner about the possibility of a Senate run. I told her I thought she should wait until 2006 and I was concerned that she would inflames the Dems anger over 2000.

She said that Karl Rove had tracked her down when she was in Iraq to say that the WH polling shows that she wouldn't hurt the President but could actually help him in FL especially if the Dem nominee is Betty Castor.

I believe that in her heart she would really like to go for it but she would not if the WH asked her to wait.

Insightful comments. Have to say I was stunned the first time I saw Miss Harris interviewed at length on Hannity & Colmes. This was the woman portrayed as a monster by the Dems?!! She absolutely radiates goodness and genuine charm to a degree you just don't see, at least in politics.
