"Are there not existing laws that prevent the local offices from giving Social security cards? Why are they not being enforced by local governments???" The cards I am referring to are not issued by the SS office. They are procured on the street. Social Security fraud is a federal issue...ya might try asking your congressman...or God forbid, try asking GWB why? Oh, by the way, the SS cards I am referring to are not legitimate...but then I assumed you all knew that...

So we fingerprint every citizen and have biometric scans whenever we walk into a doc's office, or go get a job? How do you prevent fraud. Fraud is going to exist no matter what and if you fradulently present a card and you are caught, arent you entered into the system to be flagged?

Like I said before -- you are breaking the law when you get phoney social security cards and your comment to me that you get me one and get me on welfare the next morning shows you know the people that do such things. Have you called the local law enforcement? If you haven't you should and demand they arrest the people selling these SS cards!

Social Security fraud is a federal issueGood grief, get a grip...everything you are complaining about is covered under the Tancredo bill...
IN GENERAL- For purposes of carrying out section 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act, the Commissioner of Social Security (in this section referred to as the `Commissioner') shall make such improvements to the physical design, technical specifications, and materials of the social security account number card as are necessary to ensure that it is a genuine official document and that it offers the best possible security against counterfeiting, forgery, alteration, and misuse.
