Some comments from the largest powerhouse station on the west coast.
Playing tapes, Loretta Sanchez was gushing over this plan stating she loves the plan.
John and Ken asked some basic questions: How is an employer going to prove that he offered a job to an American citizen first?
How is the federal government going to check every single employer? How could this ever work?
Who is going to send them home?
It's not *automatic* amnesty, but incremental amnesty. This is exactly what this is, slow motion amnesty. They both stated this is going to be a nightmare on top of the existing disaster. This is nothing but amnesty and will cost us all billions more in taxes.
This is going to cost the country billions, more overcrowded schools, jails, freeways, more programs, jammed hospitals, etc etc.
50,000 watt KFI LA is asking if anyone is buying this plan? 99 percent of CA callers seemed quite outraged to put it mildly.
This is going to create another *massive* government bureaucracy and it still wont work.
KFI radio is no back water station. It's the west coast blow torch station. John and Ken just stated, the President and the government must think we are a bunch of idiots, and added that it's absolutely disgraceful.
They also added and both host agreed, that the Rush Limbaugh was doing nothing but spinning this today.
10,200,000 unemployed Americans. Who held all these jobs before the waves of illegals entered?
We need a Presidential candidate that is hard line on immigration. This current plan will cause nothing but chaos and problems for years to come.
Guest Tancredo came on and stated that Bush said the present law isn't working, yet they have refused to enforce the existing laws. Adding along with our existing laws, there are many solutions to stop this.
Trancredo states there is nothing in this that helps America. He states eventually there will no such thing as illegal immigration, and if one can get here, pay a small fee, that's it, they'll be legal.
Tancredo states, these employers will think, "Hey, I have ten opening that pay $10.00 an hour, if I just list them for $6.00 an hour, no citizens will show up, and my bottom line will look much better". Yeowza!
I hope many others tuned into this program. It was great. KFI was a key player in helping Gray Davis swing from the political rope. These guys are on the case.
Chris COX 949-756-2244 is waiting to hear from his constituents.
Go to KFI website. There is a list of representitives that can be emailed. I suggest everyone that cares go to that site and email these people.
Progam is still in progress....
Yup I guess.
This isn't about Reagan or that amnesty, it's been discussed a million times on this site and the mistake of it by me and others.
If you're for open borders say so, because the logic being used to justify this insanity is getting a little old. It's time for new talking points don't you think?.
So currently they just come illegally, do the same thing, earn below minimum wage, don't pay taxes, and plan their next terrorist attack without the government even knowing they're here.
Which situation do you prefer?
It's an amnesty, that's what it is so let's be honest. No illegal living in this country will be made to go home and you know it. On top of that millions more will be coming in to get in the goodies.
LOL! You're funny.
They'll do one of three things: 1) not register to begin with, and stay underground, 2) register but simply go underground when three years are up, or 3) return to Mexico after three years, sneak back in and stay underground.
I like that, but there are many that don't want that increased level of legal immigrants "invading" and "destroying" our country, "you anti-American Open Borders psycho".
Which option they choose will depend on which option fits their particular needs and desires. It is least likely they will obey the law, register, work three to six years here, and return to Mexico to stay.
Ah...that reminds me that I forgot to listen to Michael Savage today. I'd imagine he was on fire.

We're talking about the future of the country here. I'm not prepared to give it away to anyone, let alone a third world country who has been in existence hundreds of years longer than the US. They're not our responsibility and it's time they stood on their own two feet.
Wow, what a simple solution. We could just set up internment camps for all 8 million illegals, plus some concentration camps for their 1 million employers, and deal with them all in an assembly line fashion.
I wonder why the Europeans didn't try something similar a few decades ago? They could have come up with neat sounding slogans like "Macht Mich Frei" on the gates to their prisons.
I'm sure that it would make for great campaign footage, too.
What a simple solution. Perhaps even a "final solution."

We may be able to, but we won't. You know it, I know it. And who's to stop them from coming back again?
Well, if illegals have nothing to fear from registering with our federal government, then American gun owners should have no similar fear either, right?!
Right?!
I mean, per you, such Registration is simply ignored or bypassed...

It's worse than you think.
Eons ago, I was in the nanny market in Massachusetts, in the Dukakis days.
There was a thing called the Massachusetts job bank. Before you could legally hire a girl with a visa, you had to interview five candidates from the job bank.
Now comes the best part, something for all to look forward to:
If you rejected all five, you had to fill out justification and PROVE that you weren't discriminating on the basis of protected category status.
Your friendly federal EEOC is going to make DAMNED SURE you offer your job to a citizen, and if that citizen is in a federally protected category, you'd better have a very, very good and provable reason that you didn't hire them.
To get to that point, the illegal worker has Registered, paid refundable taxes (among others) into a fund, and worked for 3 full years before self-deporting.
And at that time, with 3 years and thousands of Dollars in refundable taxes at stake, what illegal would risk it all to sneak back in illegally rather than follow the legal guidelines for applying for legal re-entry or for their tax refund?
