Can you imagine that the guy showed no interest at all in Islamic extremists of the type who perpetrated 9-11?
You need to watch Mr. Levitas' C-Span segment at the link, in case you missed the show. His ideological bias is so obvious, it is almost amusing to watch.

Not all liberals are communists or support genocide.

His agenda was to sell his book to unthinking leftists (which most are). The fact of the matter is that there are some thinking Left wingers who condemn the governments actions at Ruby Ridge and Waco just as vehemently as we on the right do and that does mean we agree with Weaver's views or buy into Koresh's cult.

When asked about the anti-semitism by the Stalinist anti-war crowd, he dismissed it as irrelevant to the theme of his book.
He struck me as a sophmoric Marxist covering for the hate-America left.

It's painful to watch/listen to C-Span's Washington Journal, because they seem to have a policy of not letting any callers on-air with an I.Q. over 60 -- Left or Right.
I remember a call-in show debating Clinton's upcoming Senate trial.
Republican line: "I think that Clinton should be impeached [he had ALREADY BEEN impeached by the House], because he's the worstest president [ever or right now?] and he's trying to take over the medical industry [what does that have to do with a president using his position of authority to lie to a grand jury, suborn perjury, etc.?]"
Democrat line: "I think that Bill Clinton should be aquittalled [???], because he's a good man and he cares about the underpriviledged. The right-wingers are just out to get him, looking for an excuse.

Precisely why C-SPIN invited the man on their program. In case you haven't noticed, C-SPIN has gone over to the dark side and now does the bidding of the DNC.

Some outraged conservatives called the show to protest Mr. Levitas' painting right-wingers in one broad brush. He replied condescendingly, that not all conservatives are racists or neo-nazis, but the designation of "right-wing" is proper scholarly procedure to describe conservatives and those other wackos. It's only "scholarly" because leftists control higher education.
In reality, the Religious Left is probably the wing of the nation which most closely resembles the Nazi Fascist regime in terms of both policy and mindset.

or the animal rights fanatics at ELF? No. That did not concern him. That caught my eye also. I almost picked up the phone to point out all the arson that the leftists have been using on SUVs.
