President Bush is not only attempting to reform immigraiton by legalizing the millions who are already here but doing it wisely in the economic sense.

What do you find so troublesome? That a Mexican will pick the lettuce that you are picking? Or maybe that a Guatemalan nurse will actually take care of you if you are sick?

I have a hard time believing you really want to know.

Let's open the damn floodgates while we're at it, why don't we?

I'm breaking my damn neck looking for a job; more than half of them (at least in my field) are being outsourced offshore.

Then I have to listen to a president that I'm supposed to agree with tell me that there are jobs that Americans won't do; He practically slaps American workers and employers both in the face with it. He insults our intelligence by talking about how "brave" these "undocumented workers" are. Call 'em by their actual name: ILLEGALS.

Don't piss on my leg and try to tell me that it's raining. I don't claim to be a genius, but I ain't that stupid!

I have three major problems.

1. Jobs. We're losing jobs, and there are only so many to go around.
2. Depresses wages, taking jobs away from Americans and legal immigrants.

3. National Security. Immigration doesn't just come from Mexico and Central America. In Eastern Michigan, most immigrants come from Arab Countries. If they are legal, that's not a problem, but it's real easy for illegals to swim across the Detroit or St Clair River through Canada, let alone driving through the 4 border crossing here with Canada.
