Those of us who want the US immigration laws enforced, must hammer home the fact that allowing illegals to work and live in this country does nothing but depress the wages of LEGAL immigrants (and working poor) trying to raise themselves to their potential.

Illegal aliens working legally cannot depress wages. Artificially controlling wages makes no good economic sense unless of course you subscribe to marxian economic theory.

Those of us who want the Davis-Bacon laws enforced must hammer home the fact that allowing non-union scabs to work and live in this country does nothing but depress the wages of LEGAL union members (and dues paying non-members) trying to to raise themselves to their potential. So what if it results in paying a guy 25 dollars an hour to wear a orange vest to flag traffic between coffee breaks.
