Why not give her a call at home. He home number is right there on the police report. Wow, I didn't notice that. They blocked out her work number, but not her home phone number. Ha!
(Why do I think her "work number" is some drug dealer's cell phone? Oops, did I say that out loud?)

Just a few hours ago, many Freepers were feeling sorry for this woman and saying that the legal winner should do the right thing and "split the prize" with her I didn't feel sorry for her(Ms. Battle), but you gotta admit she did come up with one a hell of a story. I stood on the sidelines and knew she was a fraud when Ms. Jemison rightly claimed her prize this morning, but it seems the press took her story hook, line, and sinker.
The lawyer she hired is going to drop her like a hot potato. I wouldn't be surprised if the sleazbag lawyer sues her for fraud.

~ BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP ~ DISRUPTER ALERT ~
I went back through all the prior postings on this story and not a single FREEPER stated anything that could be construed to be support for giving her the winnings based on her cock-and-bull story.
Almost everyone was of the opinion that you have to have a ticket to ride!

Jemison provided another lottery ticket purchased at the same time and location and had a lottery ticket that showed she had played the same numbers in the prior drawing, Kennedy said. I figured this would do it. If one of my regular plays ever hits the jackpot, I'll have a box of misses to show it was really me.

Go to this thread and check out replys 13, 70, 101 and 133, just for starters. Each Freeper either believed the scam artist's story or believed that the real winner should share the prize with her.
Are you going to withdraw your "disruptor alert" now?

FR threads get way to carried away. You could make a lot of omlettes by scraping the egg off FReeper faces.
My aunt works at the school in IL that a kid was kicked out for having "NRA materials and pro-gun materials."
FReepers got all riled up. Turns out what happened was he had a list of "People I am going to kill," which included teachers and students. Thats why he got kicked out.
NEVER LET THE FACTS RUIN A GOOD THREAD!!!

I picked the right numbers, but the computer messed up and printed them all wrong. Who do I sue?
To: Nick Danger
Rosie Ruiz, white courtesy telephone please That name sounds familiar, was she the one who was the fraudulent Boston Marathon winner, about 15 years ago.

Not so fast! If you are going to cite me, make sure you get it right - I said I believed her story - it was credible. I said I would return a ticket if I found one - I never said the money should be split and shared.
I was under the mistaken impression the cops at least took down some i.d. from her or a social security number to check in their system BEFORE releasing the "news" to the media. Sheesh! Nobody knows she's a criminal until after the winner is forced out of hiding? Nice.
To: muawiyah
One freeper (may be another thread) said Jamison should give Battle a million dollars after taxes. I would give her $.25 cents so she could call someone who cares.
