You have to follow an employer's rules. It is possible that HP might have been sued.
Religion and politics are best not discussed/displayed at work.
I just hope the same is true for anything posted that might be offensive to Christians.

Religion and politics are best not discussed/displayed at work. Then HP should have taken down their posters that are offensive to Christians.

I just hope the same is true for anything posted that might be offensive to Christians.Posters celebrating "diversity" which everyone knows means homosexuality is offensive not only to Christians but anyone who accepts moral absolutes.

You mean so-called "diversity" posters shouldn't be displayed at work? I'm so confused!

But religion is being shoved down everyone's throats, all the time. The religion of "diversity" and "tolerance."

My son-in-law has worked for HP for a very long time and in the past 5 years, the employees have been forced to attend many "diversity" training seminars, starting with if your eye happens to catch a female (and you are male, that is)for more than 6 seconds, you can be charged with sexual harassment, then they have moved on to "other sexual" issues, i.e. gay, lesbian, transgendered, bi-sexuals are just the same as hetros and no offensive looks, references, etc. will be tolerated. When it came time to "role play" my son-in-law stated that he refused to do so and that, while he wouldn't treat anyone, regardless of their sexual preference, badly, he didn't believe that he should be forced to acknowledge that their lifestyle was acceptable to him, as it was not. He has been told in no uncertain terms that if he chooses to continue his employment with HP he should keep his opinions to himself, he countered with "why should I when no one else does?" Needless to say, he was asked by his supervisor not to return to the seminar after lunch.

Religion and politics are best not discussed/displayed at work. Well, it's not like gay do not promote obsenely their behaviors and racist preferences.

I just hope the same is true for anything posted that might be offensive to Christians. In these days of PC, offending Christians is very much accepted. IMHO, I don't think anyone would be fired for offending Christians.

"Religion and politics are best not discussed/displayed at work."
Which is why HP has no business trying to promote a "diversity" which includes sexual perversions. Calling such 'diversity' is a religions/political statement--of the new secular 'religion.'
"I just hope the same is true for anything posted that might be offensive to Christians."
Calling sexual perverts an essential to 'diversity' is on its face offensive to Christians.
