I see such behavior all the time at protests. Whenever a counter-protester shows up, the hordes will shout "Racist!" to drown out whatever it is the other person has to say. 99.9% of the time the counter-protester's message has nothing to do with race. But once he's identified as a racist, he becomes politically radioactive to everyone there.

At today's swearing-in ceremony for the new Palestinian parliament, President Mahmoud Abbas called on Hamas to honor previous agreements with Israel and commit to negotiations for settling the dispute between the two peoples. Hamas, despite the Western gloss as having a mandate for social programs and austerity, responded by declaring a different mandate:

Why has the West avoided dealing with reality? It reminds one of the rise of the Nazis in 1932, another political movement explicitly dedicated to the eradication of Jews in its vicinity.

This article, Barricaded in Paris, was published exactly 3 months ago, re the plight of French Jewry. There were supposed to be 2 follow up articles, but so far they have not yet been written.

Reading it gave me the chills in November; reading it today, in light of the ever-worsening situation? I am beginning to think that the Jews of France, and the rest of Eurabia need to get out ASAP, while they still can...the potential for a situation far worse than the 1930's and 1940's not only exists today, but it is not just the Jews who are at risk.

Continuing my investigation, I've come across information on a specific location inside of Canada of a Jamaat ul Fuqra (JuF) "jamaat", a rural community of Islamists appparently training in terrorism.

The jamaat in question is located in the Madawaska Valley in Combermere, Ontario.

Note that this is just outside of Ottawa!

The information comes from Defense Watch .  It's an article posted on Free Republic. It's one bloody hell of a read. Go and read it!  A couple of excerpts for the bigger picture:

The upstate New York town of Hancock serves as the American headquarters for al Fuqra, with at least six major rural communities, jamaats, of two to three hundred members located in Red House, Va., Tulare County, Cal., Commerce, Ga., York, S.C., Dover, Tenn., and Combermere, Canada. Total membership in al Fuqra is believed to be between one and three thousand, with smaller jamaats being reported in over 25 locations throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

I continue to be astonished at the large number of friends, relatives, and acquaintances who just don't really believe we're in a desperate conflict with powerful opponents. They insist it's just a political ruse by President Bush to sway public opinion. I think I've come up with a way to convince them to take the situation more seriously.

Generally speaking, the Loony Liberal Left (LLL) acknowledges that the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is a bad bunch of people with a long history of supremacist ideology, intolerance of people they believe to be inferior, and a predisposition to violence. Tell your liberal friend to imagine a world in which there are a billion Klansmen, they control some 60 countries, have huge coffers of petrodollars, and they are seeking nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. Now, having set up the situation, ask your friend to imagine that he is a black person. See if that analogy helps any.

Moderate German Canadians

I've had several readers send me links to items referencing moderate Muslims. One offered that posting them would serve as response to "the defamers who vilify SDA as anti-Muslim racist"...While it's charitable to think that SDA critics might be influenced by actual SDA content, I've come to accept that when it comes to those who are motivated by hatred of all things conservative, it doesn't much matter what I write, or don't write - someone will find a way to misrepresent it...But while I was mulling it over, I chanced upon this post at CJunk that that pretty much strips the argument bare;
