Hearing set for father accused of killing girl over potty training incident

(01/06/04 - HOUSTON) — A bond hearing is set for Tuesday for a father charged with abusing and killing his daughter because she wet her pants.
Frank Padilla is charged with sexual assault and injury to a child. Two-year-old Linda Padilla died last summer after being severely beaten.
Padilla's attorneys are expected to ask a judge to reduce the bond, which is over a million dollars. Investigators say the 44-year-old confessed to the crime and he may still be charged with murder.
The 44 year-old Mr. Potato Head also sexually abused his 2 year-old child, and he "may" be charged with murder. One thing's for certain though, if ugliness were a crime, he'd get the death penalty for that by itself. I don't even want to hear about Mama Potato Head.
