And you think it isn't going to happen in America.? Too late to close the borders and our politicians are in it for the big personal payoff. In the near future French speaking peoples in France could be the minority,in America it could be Spanish! I see people arming themselves to protect their culture and heritage.

I've lived among both Latin American immigrants and Arab immigrants. I prefer the Latinos.

BTW: If by "heritage" you mean junk food, Wal-Mart, bad music and reality shows, your Spanish-speaking neighbors and their English speaking children are assimilating quite fine thank you. If you mean that they respect our CONSTITUTIONAL heritage, I'm afraid that this is not the case with ANYONE in this country, particularly here in New York. Sad, but true.
