Iraqi Civil Defense Corps (ICDC) forces continued their first independent operation east of Ar Ramadi along Highway 10. The mission was to prevent enemy forces from emplacing IEDs and selling black market fuel along the highway.

Soldiers from 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR) conducted two cordon and searches of suspected foreign fighter camps along the Syrian Border. Four targets were captured to include a targeted individual. There were no Coalition casualties..

"Soldiers from the Florida Army National Guard responded to the report and heard two explosions. A search of the area was conducted, and the reported IED was subsequently cleared."

They didn't say what the two explosions the soldiers heard were. Hopefully it was the IED builders.
