You cannot blame an officer for following orders .. especially in the case of WACO, because I'm sure at the time Clark would have had no way of knowing what they intended to do with the equipment. You're 100% correct. How could poor Wes know they were going to use those tanks and Bradleys for anything other than the annual Branch Dravidian Easter Egg Hunt.
(/sarcasm)

I have a prediction... I'll go out on a limb here and say that the dictator caught by our soldiers during the Bush administration will be tried and executed by his own people before the dictator caught by the soldiers under Clark's command..
Wait, uhh, wasn't that dictator that was caught by NATO just elected to office?

It is easy for the left to lay the blame for the attack on 9/11 to the president, when in fact it was Billy Jeff who ignored the danger. Also Why didn't the Clinton administration create a Homeland Security Office? If there had been one in place when the president was elected and took office on January 21, 2001 perhaps 9/11 could have been avoided. At least that's my thought.

No need to go out on a limb. I agree one hundred percent

Yep he was, and you can be sure if a democrat were president Saddam would get back into power again and be allowed to do what he's been doing

Look smart alec .. the democrats are a pitiful lot and I'll gladly convict them for all their corrupt and outrageous acts. But .. if you don't have facts to support your claim, then just making up stuff is stupid.

How would he know that .. of course the equipment was there to be used if necessary .. but you're saying the guy had to be clairvoyant. That's ignorant.

I never called you stupid or ignorant.
But to ASSUME Clark just folded and went along when you weren't there to know what happened .. that is speculation not fact.

We were much too busy getting Vince Foster, denying armor to our forces in Mogadishu, barbecueing Davidian children, persecuting Bill Gates, kidnapping Elian Gonzalez and handing him over to Fidel Psycho to take advantage of the dozen opportunities dumped in our lap to kill or capture bin Laden.
All bin Laden did was bomb the two hotels in Aden housing U.S. troops, blow up the World Trade Center in 1993, massacre the Rangers in Mogadishu, blow up U.S. barracks in Saudi, blow up two Embassies in Africa, blow up the U.S. Cole--besides, we were too busy ignoring Kim Jong Il's nuke program, the Rwandan Massacre, the escape of the bad guys in Bosnia, targeting tractor convoys of refugees in Kosovo, and apologizing to Africa for being prosperous.

Lets face it the real reason Clinton did nothing is because there was nothing in it for either him or Hillary.
